Emmanuel Davies

Biography

Emmanuel Davies is a social entrepreneur, educator, and community builder based in Norway. He is the CEO of Play It AS and Chairman of Idrett for Alle, leading initiatives that combine sports, education, and social inclusion. Emmanuel also runs a sole proprietorship called Rising Ballers, which uses basketball as a tool for social inclusion. The initiative began in England and was brought to Norway when he moved in 2013, aiming to get young people off the streets and into positive, low-threshold environments like the basketball court. Through projects such as Hoops for Unity, Swish It, and StreetSports Hub, Emmanuel develops community spaces that engage youth, promote equality, and create pathways to employment. His work builds bridges between municipalities, schools, and European partners to make sports accessible for all.
